Chantilly celebrates the world’s most beautiful automobiles in style
The world’s finest collector cars will once again parade through Chantilly for the Concours d’État on September 13, as part of the 2026 edition of Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille. No fewer than sixteen classes celebrate automotive history, from prewar coupes and convertibles to endurance racing barchettas, to name just a few categories. But the day is about much more than this prestigious competition: it is conceived as a celebration of the automobile and the French art de vivre, all in an elegant, family-friendly atmosphere. Visitors of all ages will have plenty to choose from among the many activities on offer, including horse-drawn carriage rides, hot-air balloon flights, equestrian performances, magic and fencing shows, makeup workshops and bouquet-making. The other major highlight of September 13 is, of course, the celebrated Garden Party (from €350), a true signature of the event and the perfect finale to an exceptional day.
