“Gustave Eiffel’s Paris” exhibition at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine
Built for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, the famous Eiffel Tower bears the name of engineer and entrepreneur Gustave Eiffel (1832-1923). But it’s not the only mark he left on the capital, as demonstrated by the exhibition “Gustave Eiffel’s Paris” presented at the City of Architecture and Heritage – located in a wing of the Palais de Chaillot, which faces the Iron Lady.
