Hotel

Hôtel Edouard 7 One hotel, two ambiences

In a fine, late 19th-century building, the 4-star Hôtel Edouard 7 (named for Edward VII of the U.K) presents two ambiences that play on subtlety and refinement of detail, and the theatricality of rich materials and colors. The 69 rooms and suites are in two categories: four Edouard 7 floors inspired by the jewelry world of the Place Vendôme, and three Couture floors. The Edouard 7 floors favor gem shades, display poetic notes on walls and have suites named for the mistresses of Edward VII. Then the Couture floors are daringly and even exuberantly decorated with different combinations of colors and materials. One of the hotel’s strong points? All the rooms and suites have balconies – some with an excellent view of the Opéra Garnier.
