Ahlem, an address in sight

It’s in Paris that the high-end glasses maker Ahlem chose to inaugurate its very first European boutique. Already established in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and distributed in nearly 600 points of sale worldwide, the label, created in 2014 by Parisian designer Ahlem Manai-Platt, offers sunglasses and optics with graphic and minimalist lines that have immediately won over celebrities based in California (including Beyoncé, Kendall Jenner, and Beck), where the founder first made her mark. Bespoke creations are also planned in the Parisian workshop, whose sculptural design was entrusted to a Swedish design agency that took inspiration from the founder’s two main sources of inspiration: artists Constantin Brancusi and Isamu Noguchi.
