From the outset, the Horizon project sought to offer 21st-century travelers a modern equivalent of the iconic 19th-century trunk. With this aluminum edition – a first for Louis Vuitton – that ambition reaches new heights. Visually striking in its purity, Horizon Aluminium conceals a remarkable feat of engineering beneath its clean lines. The shell is crafted through stamping and laser cutting, preserving fluid curves while reinforcing structural integrity. The iconic Monogram, embossed directly into the aluminum, is no longer merely decorative – it contributes to the suitcase’s strength. Innovation extends further with the complete elimination of rivets, a single-piece three -dimensional shell, and invisible hinges integrated within the case, reminiscent of fine watchmaking mechanisms.
Designed for modern travel, Horizon Aluminium also elevates functionality. Its externally mounted trolley system frees up a perfectly flat interior, maximizing packing capacity. Enlarged wheels absorb shocks for a smooth, silent glide, while an extra- wide telescopic handle ensures exceptional grip and comfort. True to Louis Vuitton’s signature, VVN or black leather trims the corners and handles, adding a refined, tactile finish.
