A city-center mansion for Collector Square

Collector Square, the leading e-store for buying and selling luxury second-hand watches, bags and jewelry, recently opened a showroom and offices in a Haussmann-era mansion house on boulevard Raspail. Designed by Charles Zana – also the brains behind the Hôtel Marianne, the offices of Condé Nast in Paris and the future Kensington Hotel in London – the space combines a classic showroom area and an industrial-style office space. The whole house feels like a New York loft: on entering, visitors are greeted by a large custom-made marble desk, sanded glass globe lights and Beetle Dining chairs with brass and fabric feet. While some objects are displayed in showcase niches, like genuine works of art, customers who have seen items on Collectorsquare.com can also come here to get a closer look, while people selling goods can get an estimate or drop them off.
