Master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud continues his Californian journey embodied by Louis Vuitton’s Cologne Perfumes. A travelogue in five volumes that narrates the City of Angels in its protean facets, the latest of which is Pacific Chill, a wellness juice that awakens the senses with a distinct Detox effect, as if it harbors all the energy of the Pacific Ocean. “I sought to transcribe into emotion the wellness effect of a fruit cocktail”, the perfumer reveals. As fresh as a cologne, as captivating as a perfume, Pacific Chill speaks of radiant mornings. Blackcurrant, amplified by coriander seeds, ambrette, basil, peppermint, and orange essence, reveals its full spontaneity before rounding off under the creamy notes of apricot, date, and fig emanating from carrot seed essence. The final touch is delivered by a smooth hint of May Rose.
