Inès de la Fressange invents the chic – and fun – bazar!

A fanfare opening for this chic Parisian icon in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Inès de la Fressange has transformed with delightful charm a former foundry into a warm and inviting couture space. Walls of glass, dark wood paneling, and light hard wood floors evoke an old-fashioned workshop. Bathed in light, with 200 sq. m., it has all the essentials. Her line of ready-to-wear pieces are full of refined and timeless elegance, some of which are numbered and actually manufactured in the integrated workshop of the store. Bags, shoes, scarves, sunglasses and jewelry are also part of the picture. The decor feels like a souk-bazar with dishes by Baan, Tinja vases, Le Linge Particulier, André Jardin brooms, Happy Shop gadgets, and olive oil from the Château de Montfrin. It’s a joyful temple of good taste, neat but casual, with gingham dresses – which also come in children’s sizes – big bags, ballerina shoes, and treasures collected from around the world such as basset shaped pens for €2. A special favorite!
