One year after the launch of its beauty line, including, among other things, «art objects» to collect, about thirty lipsticks snuggled in beautiful rechargeable cases and a dozen fragrances concocted by as many perfumers, the luxury house Dries Van Noten continues the adventure with the creation of an exclusive boutique, inaugurated this summer, on the Malaquais quay. A preferred area – the Seine, the school and its Academy of Fine Arts, etc. – for the Belgian stylist, who is fond of art and history, since he had already installed his first address, in 2007, in a former bookstore. The new space, modest in size, reflects, however, the eclectic tastes of the creator who took particular care to mix styles and eras (white marble, Venetian chandelier of the 70s, Flemish tapestry of the seventeenth…). Immersed in the dark, a superb «cabinet of curiosities», mixing accessories and jewels, completes the picture.
